The Q4 Steel Frame OR is built on a carbon-steel frame finished in Walther’s Tenifer/nitrided treatment, matching the Tenifer slide for durability and a uniform appearance. Its compact size and 4 inch barrel balance carry-friendly dimensions with full-size shootability.
The optics-ready slide uses a removable cover plate that carries a serrated square-notch adjustable rear sight, paired with a dovetailed front blade. Front, rear, and top serrations aid manipulation and help reduce glare across the sighting plane.
Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and a button-style left-side magazine release. Walther’s Quick Defense trigger features a short, tactile reset with an integrated trigger safety. An extended beavertail, beveled and flared magazine well with the Walther logo, and textured wrap-around grip panels secured by screws round out the handling package. A MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail with three slots supports lights or other compatible accessories.
