This New England Firearms Huntsman is a .50 caliber inline, break-action muzzleloader made in Gardner, Massachusetts. It combines a 24" stainless steel barrel with a matte nickel receiver and a durable black polymer stock. The Huntsman system features a removable hex-head breech plug and uses 209 shotshell primers in reusable primer carriers. Sighting is straightforward with a ramped front post and an adjustable rear open sight; a Weaver-style scope rail is also installed.

The Huntsman uses a break-open, single-shot inline action with an external hammer and a transfer-bar safety.
