The 16 in PROOF Research carbon-fiber wrapped barrel keeps weight down while maintaining rigidity. A 1:10 twist stabilizes a wide range of .308 Win loads, and the barrel is threaded and fitted with a stainless 3-port side-vented muzzle brake.
The Cross chassis is built from aluminum alloy and finished in Moss Cerakote. The folding, skeletonized stock includes a height-adjustable cheekpiece, adjustable buttpad, and QD sling sockets, with a 12.75 in length of pull for a precise fit.
An integrated Picatinny rail over the receiver with 20-MOA cant simplifies mounting optics for extended-distance zeroing; the handguard top is smooth with M-LOK slots and has no continuous Picatinny section. The free-float aluminum handguard features M-LOK slots; the underside is flat with M-LOK slots (no integrated ARCA dovetail) for accessory mounting.
The rifle feeds from AICS-pattern magazines and is supplied with a 5-round PMAG. The two-stage, adjustable match trigger and AR-pattern SIG polymer pistol grip support precise control. Factory literature cites sub-MOA performance, and the rifle is made in the USA.
