The carbine configuration provides a 16.5-inch octagon blued steel barrel and a 7-round tubular magazine (7+1 capacity). The color case hardened steel receiver delivers a distinctive, classic finish, and the straight-grip walnut stock includes checkering, a rubber recoil pad, and a rear sling swivel stud.
Feeding is through a side loading gate, with the convenience of a removable inner magazine tube. A large-loop lever enhances handling. A transfer bar safety is built in.
Sights are traditional and practical: an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with a diamond insert paired with a brass bead front. The barrel uses a 1:20 twist rate for .44-caliber bullets.
