What’s Included
- Original Winchester factory box
- Winchester Lone Star Commemorative certificate
The Lone Star Commemorative is factory-engraved with a star border motif; the saddle-ring side carries a large five-point star flanked by the dates "1845" and "1970," while the loading-gate side features only the perimeter star border. A rectangular brass inlay on the underside of the wrist, just behind the lower tang, is inscribed "UNDER SIX FLAGS," and the barrel carries a gold-filled "LONE STAR COMMEMORATIVE" inscription. Serialization uses the LS-prefix unique to this commemorative series.
The carbine configuration pairs a 20-inch steel half-octagon/half-round blued barrel with a full-length tubular magazine for a 6+1 capacity. The barrel is rollmarked "WINCHESTER — MODEL 94 — 30-30 WIN. — MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. — WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL," reflecting its New Haven manufacture and proofed steel construction.
Hardware and trim include a factory gold-plated receiver and a right-side saddle ring. Iron sights consist of a blade front and a semi-buckhorn rear with elevator, providing a period-correct sight picture for this commemorative carbine.
The walnut furniture features a straight-grip stock and smooth forend, with a commemorative medallion in the right buttstock and an oval inlay on the underside of the butt. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches, maintaining classic Model 94 handling characteristics.
