The KSG is a bullpup pump-action shotgun with dual, selectable magazine tubes and a combined bottom loading and ejection port. Its three-position selector (left, right, off) and bottom ejection contribute to effective ambidextrous use.
Capacity is a major advantage: 7+7 rounds of 2 3/4 in shells plus 1 in the chamber (14+1), or 6+6+1 with 3 in shells. The 18.5 in barrel pairs with an overall length of approximately 26.1 inches and an unloaded weight of about 6.9 lb for a compact, maneuverable package.
Construction is robust and lightweight, with a steel barrel and receiver, and a polymer frame, stock, and forend in a two-tone blue/grey finish. The stock includes a rubber recoil pad, and the length of pull is approximately 13.5 in.
