This example ships with two 20-round magazines and one 17-round magazine, plus factory case and accessories.

The Tactical OR configuration equips the VP9 with a 4.70 in threaded barrel (M13.5x1 LH) capped by a knurled protector. The barrel is steel, cold hammer-forged, and uses polygonal rifling with a 1:9.8 RH twist. The pistol operates via a short-recoil, Browning-type linkless locking system.
The slide is optics-ready with a cover plate, and the specified mounting plate torque is 2 Nm. Fixed suppressor-height 3-dot iron sights co-witness over the threaded muzzle. Front and rear serrations and HK's rear charging support wings aid slide manipulation.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including slide releases on both sides and a paddle-style magazine release. Safety features include a loaded chamber indicator and a striker cocking indicator.
The full-size polymer frame features molded texture with finger grooves and interchangeable backstraps and side panels for fit tuning. A MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with four slots is molded into the dust cover for mounting compatible accessories.
This pistol is made in Germany by Heckler & Koch GmbH and imported by HKI–Columbus, GA. It bears DE country code and inspection/proof marks, with matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame. Capacity is 20+1 with the extended magazines; one 17-round magazine is also included.
