Built on the proven P229 architecture, the M11-A1 pairs a stainless milled slide with an aluminum alloy frame for strength and balanced carry. The slide wears a Nitron black finish and uses rear-only serrations with an external extractor.
This pistol uses a semi-automatic, recoil-operated system with DA/SA operation and Sig's Short Reset Trigger. Controls include a left-side push-button magazine release and a decocking lever, with internal safeties such as a firing pin block, safety intercept notch, and trigger bar disconnector. An external spur hammer provides clear status and control.
SIGLITE tritium 3-dot sights are fixed and dovetailed front and rear, offering low-light visibility with a 5.7 in sight radius. The 3.9 in barrel supports a standard 15+1 capacity with the included double-stack magazines.
