This 835 Ulti-Mag Turkey model is configured with a 24" smoothbore barrel that is overbored and factory ported near the muzzle. The barrel carries a ventilated rib and is clearly marked "NOT FOR USE WITH SLUGS," underscoring its shot-only design.
Visibility and pointability are enhanced by a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable fiber-optic rear sight mounted on the rib. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics bases; on this example, one or more plug screws are missing.
Designed around Mossberg’s 835 Ulti-Mag platform, this shotgun includes dual action bars, dual extractors, and an anti-jam elevator for smooth operation. It uses a right-side ejection port and the familiar ambidextrous tang safety.
The camo synthetic stock is fitted with a recoil pad and a rear sling-swivel stud, offering practical field features and durability. Length of pull is 14.25" and the overall finish is matte.
Chambered in 12 gauge, it accepts 2 3/4", 3", and 3 1/2" shells and feeds from a 4+1 capacity magazine. The Accu-Mag choke system provides compatibility with appropriate choke tubes for pattern tuning. Made in the USA.
