The expansion-chamber slide with twin top ports is a defining X-FIVE Legion element, designed to work with the 4.4 in. barrel and SAO system for fast follow-up capability. The Legion Gray finish carries across both slide and frame for a uniform, purpose-built look.
The AX3 flat-faced, skeletonized trigger is adjustable for reach, pull weight, and overtravel, letting the shooter tailor the break and reset. An ambidextrous manual safety and a single-action hammer complete the SAO control layout.
Ergonomics are enhanced by front-strap checkering with an X-Series undercut, an extended beavertail, a flared magwell, and a sport takedown lever with a thumb-rest. A full-length 1913 accessory rail with six slots supports compatible lights or accessories.
Sight regulation is straightforward thanks to a green fiber-optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear. Documentation includes a SIG factory test/accuracy sheet listing Model 226, SKU 226X5-9-LEGION, and a test date of January 30, 2024 at 10 meters with SIG V-CROWN ammunition.
