The PMXs uses a semi-automatic, closed-bolt, direct blowback system housed in a lightweight polymer receiver and frame finished in gray/white camouflage. The side-folding brace and textured pistol grip with the Beretta trident logo provide a compact profile with positive control.
The 7.28 in steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and threaded, offering durability and a ready interface at the muzzle. The bore condition is excellent with sharp lands and grooves.
Controls are set up for flexibility: ambidextrous safety and magazine release, a reversible charging handle, and a bolt catch. Selector markings are 'S' and '1' for semi-only operation.
A full-length top Picatinny rail runs the receiver, with accessory rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions on the handguard. Flip-up adjustable polymer front and rear sights are installed. Sling attachment loops are positioned at the front of the handguard.
Capacity is 30+1 with the included factory magazines. Weight is approximately 79.4 oz without a magazine, and overall length is less than 16.93 in. The firearm bears CIP N, MP, and star-in-shield proof marks, along with '1T23'.
