The G3 uses a striker-fired, single-action system with restrike capability, offering a second-strike option without racking the slide. It features a manual thumb safety, a trigger safety, and a loaded-chamber viewport. The left-side magazine release supports conventional right-handed operation.
The full-size polymer frame has molded texturing for grip and built-in index/memory pads on both sides. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations and an external extractor. Sights are a three-dot setup with a drift-adjustable rear notch and a front post with a single dot.
Dimensions and capacity are well balanced for a duty-sized 9mm: an approximately 4.0-inch steel barrel, about 7.28 inches in overall length, and an unloaded weight near 24.83 ounces. The stated magazine capacity is 17+1, and this pistol comes with one 17-round magazine. The frame and slide wear a uniform black finish.
