What’s Included
- Remington Model 34A Standard bolt-action rimfire rifle
Chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle, the Model 34A uses a tubular magazine with a stated capacity of 15+1 in .22 LR. The design’s lifter brings each round level with the chamber, helping preserve bullet noses for reliable feeding and consistent performance.
It retains the signature 24-inch steel barrel and blued finish, paired with open sights: an unhooded front blade/bead set in a barrel dovetail and a rear leaf with a stepped elevator for simple elevation adjustments.
The one-piece hardwood stock includes a finger-groove fore-end, semi-pistol grip, straight comb, and a curved steel buttplate. A takedown screw is fitted, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Made in the United States from 1932 to 1935 in approximately 163,000 units, this Model 34A represents the standard configuration of the series and was later succeeded by the Model 341 Sportmaster. Typical barrel rollmarks include “Remington REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.” and “.22 SHORT, LONG OR LONG RIFLE.”
