Made in New Haven, Connecticut, this carbine reflects 1970s Winchester production with the "Winchester Proof Steel" barrel marking. Its top-eject receiver and right-side loading gate give it the handling and ejection pattern associated with classic Model 94 carbines.
The 20-inch round barrel is secured by two bands and feeds from a full-length tubular magazine with a stated 6+1 capacity. The steel barrel and blued receiver present a traditional, durable finish.
Sight regulation is handled by a hooded ramp front sight and an elevator-adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped for a receiver/peep sight, and the holes are currently plugged.
The straight-grip wood stock and matching forearm provide a timeless carbine profile, complemented by a checkered black composition buttplate with molded Winchester logo medallion. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, and the hammer features a serrated spur for positive control.
