This P239 Tactical stands out with its extended, threaded 4-inch barrel, complete with a factory thread protector. The configuration offers compact handling with the added utility of a protected muzzle thread, and it retains the P239’s proven single-stack 8+1 architecture.
The DA/SA system is paired with SIG’s Short Reset Trigger (SRT) for a fast, distinct reset, and a frame-mounted decocker for safe transitions. An exposed hammer provides clear visual and tactile confirmation of status.
Built on a black hard-coat anodized aluminum-alloy frame with a black slide, it includes front and rear slide serrations for confident manipulation. Two-piece textured polymer grip panels, each secured by a single screw, provide a secure, comfortable hold.
Factory SIGLITE tritium three-dot night sights are installed. The sight bases are marked "MH3," and the front sight carries height code "10" for proper point of aim. Markings include "SIG SAUER P239" on the slide, "9MM PARA" on the barrel hood, and "SIG SAUER INC., EXETER–NH–USA" on the frame.
