It is chambered in .44 caliber and uses fixed sights with a front post and a hammer-notch rear.
The revolver features a bright steel barrel and cylinder paired with a brass frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. The one-piece hardwood "Navy" grip has a reddish-brown hue and traditional profile. A spurred hammer with a checkered spur provides positive cocking control.
