This open-top, single-action percussion revolver follows the classic 1851 pattern with a wedge-retained 7.5-inch octagonal steel barrel, an under-barrel loading lever/rammer, and a six-shot unfluted steel cylinder. It is chambered in .44 caliber and uses fixed sights with a front post and a hammer-notch rear.
The revolver features a bright steel barrel and cylinder paired with a brass frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. The one-piece hardwood "Navy" grip has a reddish-brown hue and traditional profile. A spurred hammer with a checkered spur provides positive cocking control.
Scroll-style engraving decorates the brass frame and the steel barrel lug, with additional decorative accents on the barrel flats. The bright steel and brass combination creates a clean, period-correct presentation.
Italian proof and inspection marks are present, including a "PN" stamp on the frame, and the cylinder is marked "ITALY '70." The factory box label reads "USE BLACK POWDER ONLY" and matches the revolver’s serial, aligning with its cap-and-ball configuration.
