This example comes in excellent condition with a clean, mirror-finish bore and includes the factory box, manual, and three magazines.

The Shield 1.0 pattern delivers a thin 0.95 in width with an overall length of about 6.1 in, height of about 4.6 in, and an unloaded weight around 19.0 oz. The stainless steel slide and barrel receive Smith & Wesson’s black Armornite/Melonite treatment for durability, with rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation.
Its striker-fired action uses a hinged trigger and an approximate 6.5 lb trigger weight. This model is built without a manual thumb safety and without a magazine disconnect, and is marked “capable of firing with magazine removed.” A visual loaded-chamber witness hole in the barrel hood, visible through the ejection port, provides quick status checks.
Fieldstripping is straightforward thanks to the sear-deactivation lever, allowing takedown without pressing the trigger. Fixed dovetailed white 3-dot sights come standard on both the front and rear.
