The GRP IOS configuration pairs a Heinie rear sight with Nighthawk’s removable IOS plate system, giving the slide a clean sight picture and straightforward plate changes. The Trijicon tritium front sight is marked H3 23, providing a bright reference in varied lighting.
Its government-length 5-inch match-grade bushing barrel is chambered in 10mm, with the barrel hood marked "NHC 10MM NM." The lowered and flared ejection port and rear slide serrations support consistent function and easy manipulation.
The steel frame wears a multi-tone camouflage finish and includes an accessory rail on the dust cover. Textured G10 grips with Nighthawk medallions, front strap and mainspring housing checkering, and a one-piece, blended mainspring housing with flared magwell promote secure control and fast reloads.
Controls and fire-control parts are tuned for a 1911 single-action setup, including a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a lightweight three-hole aluminum trigger. Standard 1911 thumb safety and grip safety are present. Capacity is 9+1, and two stainless 10mm magazines are included.
