This Steel Frame Q5 Match is built for precision and durability. The carbon steel frame is machined from a single billet and finished with Tenifer treatment for surface hardening and corrosion resistance. At approximately 40.9 oz empty, the platform offers a stable shooting base while maintaining the PPQ-series ergonomics.
Its 5-inch carbon steel barrel features polygonal rifling and a 250 mm right-hand twist, designed to deliver consistent accuracy with 9mm Luger. The striker-fired action uses Walther’s Quick Defense trigger with a distinctive blue trigger shoe, paired with a trigger safety.
The slide is optics-ready with the cover plate installed and includes lightening windows/ports plus rear serrations for confident manipulation. Target acquisition is fast and precise thanks to a red fiber-optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight, supported by a 181 mm sight radius.
The extended MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail on the dustcover offers ample mounting space. This example bears DE CIP N and Ulm antler proof marks with a Walther Arms, Fort Smith, AR import mark, confirming German manufacture and U.S. import. It comes with three 15-round steel magazines, and the very low FCX-prefix serial indicates early production within the Steel Frame lineup.
