Wilson Combat Project 1 Division 77 9mm 1911, 5 inch, Compensated/Ported Bull Barrel, Black Armor-Tuff, 18+1, Direct-Mount Optics Interface
Wilson Combat’s Project 1 Division 77 is a full-size, 9mm, double-stack 1911 built with performance-driven details from end to end. This example combines a compensated and ported, fluted bull barrel with a tri-top, lightened and ported slide, a direct-mount optics interface that supports RMR, RMSc, and DeltaPoint Pro footprints, and an aluminum-alloy frame finished in Black Armor-Tuff with copper PVD barrel and controls. It carries an 18+1 capacity, a factory 1-inch at 25 yards accuracy pledge, and a final factory inspection dated April 30, 2025.
The Division 77 slide features a serrated top rib, front and rear cocking serrations, lightening windows, and an internal 1911-style extractor. Sights are a green fiber-optic front paired with a fixed Battlesight rear integrated into the removable cover plate. An ambidextrous thumb safety, flat lightened three-hole trigger, and G10 TRAK-pattern grips round out a configuration that is ready for serious use while keeping weight to 33.8 oz.

The 5-inch, bushingless bull barrel is fluted, compensated, and ported, working in concert with matching slide ports and Wilson’s Advanced RPG guide-rod/Shok-Buff-compatible recoil system. Wilson Combat cites a 42% reduction in recoil energy versus a standard EDC X9, contributing to fast follow-up shots and controllability.
The Division 77 rear direct-mount optics interface allows mounting of red dots using RMR, RMSc, or DeltaPoint Pro footprints. When no optic is installed, the fixed Battlesight rear sits on the removable cover plate, pairing with the green fiber-optic front for a clear sight picture.
The aluminum-alloy frame wears Wilson’s Black Armor-Tuff finish and includes an accessory rail. Controls receive a copper PVD treatment that contrasts with the slide and frame. G10 TRAK-pattern grips with Wilson medallions provide secure purchase, while an ambidextrous thumb safety and a flat, lightened three-hole trigger support precise single-action, hammer-fired operation.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, the Project 1 Division 77 accepts Project 1 double-stack magazines for an 18+1 capacity. Overall length is 8.7 inches, height is 5.5 inches, and unloaded weight is 33.8 ounces. Country of origin is the United States, and this is a recent Wilson Combat release with a factory 1-inch at 25 yards accuracy pledge.
