The Cross uses a monolithic aluminum receiver with a free-floated, medium-profile stainless steel barrel for rigidity and consistency. The 18-inch barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and cut with 5-groove, right-hand rifling and a 1:8 twist for 6.5 Creedmoor.
The folding stock is finished in First Lite Cipher camouflage and provides an adjustable cheek piece, adjustable buttpad, and adjustable length of pull. The listed length of pull is 12.75 inches. A skeletonized design helps control overall weight. The rifle is fitted with a SIG-branded polymer AR-style grip.
A two-stage, match, user-adjustable trigger supports precise shooting. The rifle feeds from AICS-pattern detachable magazines and is listed at 10+1 capacity. This example includes one 10-round and one 5-round Magpul PMAG 7.62 AC polymer magazine.
An aluminum M-LOK handguard offers accessory mounting, with a T-marked Picatinny receiver rail and a small top rail segment at the rear of the handguard. The rifle is set up without sights. A right-hand bolt with a swept handle provides smooth cycling. This USA-made configuration carries the factory First Lite Cipher camouflage on the receiver and stock, and ships with its matching factory box and end label (mfg part number CROSS-65-18B-FLC; carton label dated 23-SEP-2021).
