The Legion RXP configuration equips the P229 with a factory optics-cut slide (RXP pattern) and X-RAY3 tritium 3-dot sights, providing a bright green-ring tritium front and a serrated tritium rear. The slide carries front and rear grasping serrations and an external extractor, finished in the distinctive Legion gray.
Its aluminum-alloy frame, also in Legion gray, includes front-strap checkering, an undercut trigger guard, and a reduced/contoured beavertail for a controlled, high grip. Black checkered G10 grips with Legion medallions complete the package.
The pistol uses a DA/SA, locked-breech, recoil-operated system with a curved trigger, a decocking lever, a spur hammer, and a reversible button magazine release. Capacity is 15+1 with the included magazines.
A 1913/Picatinny accessory rail with three slots supports weapon-mounted accessories. The compact 3.9 in barrel and stainless-steel slide over the aluminum-alloy frame balance durability and carry-friendly size. Made in the USA.
