The DISSENT series uses CMMG’s bufferless Compact Action with a dual guide-rod recoil system housed in the upper, allowing the rifle to run without a traditional receiver extension. This example is chambered in .300 AAC Blackout and is paired with a 16-inch threaded barrel. The .300 BLK configuration includes an adjustable gas block for tuning.
The upper is side-charging with a reversible charging handle. Controls include a manual safety selector marked SAFE/SEMI. Operation is semi-automatic with a direct impingement system.
A full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail spans the receiver and handguard. The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard comes outfitted with an installed vertical foregrip, hand stop, and rail cover panels. No sights are included.
The aluminum-alloy receiver set includes a Mk4-marked lower and a DISSENT-marked upper. The barrel is stamped 300 AAC. Furniture consists of an adjustable polymer stock and a textured, CMMG-branded polymer pistol grip. Capacity is 30+1, and the rifle is compatible with AR-15 pattern magazines; one Magpul PMAG Gen M3 (marked 5.56x45) is included. Country of origin is the USA.
