The installed Apex Tactical "Apex Grade" 9mm barrel is a key upgrade on this pistol. It is a non-threaded stainless steel, 5.0-inch barrel that aligns with the full-size M2.0 configuration while delivering a clean, precise bore with sharp rifling.
The slide comes optics ready from the factory, with front and rear serrations and a protective cover plate when no optic is mounted. A Calculated Kinetics adapter plate is included for the RMR footprint and is compatible with Holosun 407C/507C/507Comp/508T. Raised iron sights with a tall front post and a plain black rear notch provide a straightforward sight picture.
Controls are set up for practical use: there is no external manual thumb safety, the trigger uses a safety blade, and ambidextrous slide stop levers are present. A Springer Precision extended magazine release is installed on the left side, and the OEM release is included. The dustcover hosts a multi-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail.
Ergonomics come from the M2.0 aggressive grip texture on a black polymer frame and the included interchangeable palmswell backstraps. The Taylor Freelance flared aluminum magwell speeds indexing, and the extended aluminum base pad is installed on the included factory 18-round magazine.
