The Vertec Inox configuration delivers a stainless slide over a black aluminum-alloy frame for a purposeful two-tone finish. Markings include "MOD. 92FS VERTEC - CAL. 9mm Parabellum - PATENTED" on the slide, "BERETTA U.S.A. CORP., GALLATIN, TN – MADE IN USA" with the PB logo, and "STAINLESS" on the slide face.
Its DA/SA operating system is paired with an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker and a firing pin block. The pistol uses a short-recoil system with a falling locking-block, and it features Beretta's signature open-top slide design, an exposed spur hammer, a squared trigger guard, and a lanyard loop.
Sighting is straightforward with replaceable, dovetailed 3-dot sights front and rear. The front and rear sights are both dovetailed into the slide, allowing easy replacement if desired.
This full-size 9mm includes two 17-round and two 15-round steel magazines, each with witness holes. The installed wraparound textured rubber grip with finger grooves and Beretta medallions provides a secure hold while maintaining the Vertec profile.
