Built on a simple blowback action with right-side charging and ejection, the RS22 delivers dependable performance with .22 LR ammunition. Capacity is 10+1, and control is straightforward thanks to a cross-bolt safety.
The 18 in alloy steel barrel uses a 1:16 RH twist with 8 grooves for .22 LR accuracy and reliability. The matte black aluminum-alloy receiver includes integral 3/8 in rimfire dovetail grooves.
Sighting is fast and clear with fiber-optic irons: a hooded red fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable green fiber-optic rear. These sights complement the rifle’s handy overall length of 36.25 in and approximate weight of 4.1 lb.
The black synthetic Monte Carlo stock features a molded cheekpiece, textured grip and forend, and a hard polymer serrated buttplate. Sling swivel studs are installed front and rear, and the length of pull measures 13.5 in.
