This Springfield Armory Echelon pairs the series’ modular design with a factory 5.25 inch threaded barrel and an installed Viridian RFX11 green-dot reflex sight. It uses the Variable Interface System for direct optic mounting and a serialized stainless-steel Central Operating Group chassis, delivering a modern, full-size 9mm with a 19+1 maximum capacity, interchangeable backstraps, and a multi-slot accessory rail.

The Echelon platform was introduced in July 2023 and centers on a serialized stainless-steel Central Operating Group housed in a polymer frame. This pistol uses the Variable Interface System for direct optic mounting and includes hardware kits to match common footprint requirements. The slide carries front, rear, and top serrations and is optics-ready, with markings that read ECHELON and SPRINGFIELD ARMORY.
The 5.25 inch steel barrel is hammer-forged with a Melonite finish and features 1/2x28 threads capped by a knurled thread protector. The chamber hood is marked 9x19. Fixed iron sights with a front blade and white dot back up the installed Viridian RFX11 green dot.
Ergonomics are customizable through interchangeable backstraps, and a flared magwell with the Springfield Armory crest is included in the case for optional installation. A full-length, multi-slot accessory rail is molded into the dustcover for light or accessory attachment as desired.
This full-size, striker-fired 9mm ships with one 19-round and two 17-round factory steel magazines, supporting a maximum on-board capacity of 19+1. The pistol is finished in black, and the frame is polymer. Import stamp reads MADE IN CROATIA.
Viridian RFX11 Green Dot Optic: This compact reflex sight is installed and ready to use, providing a bright green dot reticle that aligns cleanly with the Echelon’s direct-mount VIS system.
