The Lite Rack system uses a reduced-mass slide with forward scallops, rear serrations, and lightening windows to make slide manipulation easier while maintaining reliable function. An external extractor supports consistent ejection, and the slide wears a blued/black-oxide finish.
Sight regulation is straightforward with both sights set in dovetails. The front sight is a bright fiber-optic green, while the rear is a steel notch with a vertical ledge that aids one-handed manipulations.
The frame combines a glass-filled nylon grip module with an internal aluminum chassis that runs full-length guide rails. The receiver is hard-coat anodized, and the dust cover includes an integral Picatinny-style accessory rail for mounting a light or laser.
Ruger’s locked-breech, shrouded-hammer Secure Action incorporates a manual thumb safety and a trigger safety blade. A loaded-chamber inspection port provides quick status checks, the magazine release is a standard left-side control, and the pistol will fire with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect).
