This FNX-45 Tactical is the full-size, .45 ACP variant configured with a short-recoil, hammer-fired DA/SA action and an external hammer. It features fully ambidextrous controls, including the safety/decocker, slide stop, and magazine release. The frame uses interchangeable backstraps and aggressive checkering to optimize fit and control.
The extended 5.3 in stainless steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and threaded .578x28 RH, capped with a thread protector. Its suppressor-height 3-dot night sights co-witness over the optics cut, providing a clear sight picture with or without an optic installed. The slide is stainless steel with an FDE finish and includes an optics-ready cut and cover plate.
The FDE polymer frame integrates a Picatinny accessory rail for lights or lasers. The overall package balances capacity and shootability with a 15+1 round setup in .45 ACP, supported by three included factory steel magazines.
