This Daniel Defense H9 is a recent-release, U.S.-made compact 9mm that blends a low bore axis and a straight-pull metal trigger with modern striker-fired operation. It features an optics-cut alloy-steel slide with a DD cover plate installed, a stainless-steel 4.28 in barrel, and an aluminum frame with G10 grip panels and backstrap. Sights are a green fiber-optic front and a plain black serrated U-notch rear, and it ships with three 15-round steel magazines and the factory case.

The H9’s construction pairs an alloy-steel slide with a stainless-steel barrel and an aluminum grip frame reinforced by a steel insert, delivering a robust build at approximately 30 oz with an empty magazine. G10 grip panels and backstrap provide a solid, textured interface.
Its fire-control system is striker-fired with a metal, straight-pull trigger that includes an integral blade safety. The pistol incorporates a low bore axis, an ambidextrous slide stop, and a reversible magazine catch to support a broad range of shooters.
The slide is optics-ready and machined with an RDS interface that uses removable adapter plates; a Daniel Defense cover plate is installed from the factory. Anti-glare top serrations reduce visual washout, and the dovetail pattern matches Sig P-Series sights for straightforward replacement if desired.
Iron sights are set up for fast acquisition: a green fiber-optic front blade paired with a black, serrated U-notch rear. The dustcover features a STANAG 4694 accessory rail for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
