The Pro-length, 4-inch barrel and full-size 1911 grip strike a practical balance for carry and control. The two-tone finish combines a matte black slide with a satin silver aluminum-alloy frame for reduced weight and a clean, purposeful look.
The bushingless bull barrel is paired with a full-length guide rod and reverse plug to enhance lockup and recoil management. This Series II pistol uses a single-action 1911 platform with a left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump, plus a Swartz-type firing pin block.
Dovetailed 3-dot tritium night sights deliver a bright, low-light sight picture. The slide includes rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port for reliable operation.
A skeletonized commander-style hammer and a three-hole lightweight trigger provide a familiar 1911 control set. It feeds from standard single-stack Government-length 1911 magazines and is roll-marked with "Kimber," "PRO CARRY II," and "YONKERS NY USA."
