This Interarms-import Hawken is a 1970s Italian-made, percussion sidelock reproduction in .50 caliber with a 28-inch octagonal barrel and a browned finish. It features factory floral scroll engraving on the lockplate and sideplate, brass furniture with a browned steel nosecap, and traditional Hawken-style details including double set triggers, a left-side cheekpiece, and a hinged brass patchbox. Italian PN proofs and an AC date code are present, and the barrel is stamped "BLACK POWDER ONLY – MADE IN ITALY – CAL. 50."

The rifle follows classic Hawken lines with a 28-inch octagonal barrel and a browned finish. Brass furniture includes the crescent buttplate, hinged patchbox, toe plate, and ramrod pipes, with a browned steel nosecap contributing to its period-correct presentation. The hardwood half-stock has a left-side cheekpiece, and the length of pull measures 14 inches.
Its percussion sidelock uses an external hammer striking a nipple set in the bolster. The double set triggers are fitted in a brass guard with a finger spur, allowing a crisp, user-adjustable trigger release. This is a single-shot muzzleloader configured for black powder use.
Sighting equipment is traditional, with a dovetailed front blade and an open rear sight featuring a step elevator for elevation adjustments. The open iron sights suit the rifle’s intended black powder use and maintain a period look.
