The HS Produkt Kuna is a recent-release 9mm roller-delayed blowback pistol engineered in Karlovac, Croatia and imported/marketed by Springfield Armory. This example pairs a compact 6-inch threaded barrel with an installed compensator, ambidextrous and reversible controls, and integrated flip-up iron sights. It features a monolithic 7075-T6 aluminum upper/handguard with a continuous numbered Picatinny top rail, a side-folding brace, and proprietary translucent 30-round magazines. Built around a roller-delayed blowback system, the Kuna delivers smooth 9mm operation with right-side ejection. The receiver and monolithic upper/handguard are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish for durability. The continuous, numbered Picatinny top rail simplifies mounting of sights or accessories along its full length.
The 6-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a compensator from the factory. This configuration provides a compact profile while preserving common thread compatibility. The bore presents a mirror-like interior with sharp rifling, consistent with the listed condition.
Controls are set up for versatility: ambidextrous/reversible safety selector, magazine release, and bolt release, plus a reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle. A side-folding brace attaches to a rear 1913 rail endplate, and the frame is polymer for weight savings and handling.
Integrated flip-up front and rear iron sights fold into the monolithic upper when not in use. Markings include "KUNA" on the upper, matching serials on the receiver and bolt with "9x19," and import stamps noting Springfield Armory, Geneseo, IL. The pistol ships with six proprietary translucent magazines, each offering a 30+1 capacity when combined with a chambered round.
