Built for magnum performance in a compact format, the Magnum Carry uses Colt’s strengthened stainless SF small frame and a six-shot fluted cylinder. Its 2" stainless barrel includes a shrouded ejector rod, and the fixed-sight system combines an integral ramped front sight with a topstrap groove/notch rear.
This model was produced for a short period and was subsequently discontinued, making it sought after by collectors. The SY serial prefix is characteristic of the Magnum Carry and aligns with the case label for model code SD2020. Limited-run model (1/1000).
The revolver is finished throughout in satin/brushed stainless, including the frame, cylinder, barrel, and receiver. It features a DA/SA action with a transfer-bar safety system, an exposed-spur hammer, and a smooth-faced trigger.
