A rubber wraparound finger-groove insert sits under the factory wood grip panels, adding a customized grip feel while keeping the original RIA medallion panels. It comes with the factory hard case and an ACT-MAG 8-round magazine.

The Rock Standard FS configuration delivers the classic 1911 layout in a full-size steel package with a non-railed dust cover. It is chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity and operates as a single-action, semi-automatic pistol. The matte dark gray finish on both the slide and frame presents a uniform, purpose-built appearance.
Sight regulation and acquisition are aided by a square-notch adjustable rear teamed with a dovetailed front post. The slide includes rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port to support smooth manipulation and reliable ejection.
Controls and fire-control components include a beavertail grip safety and an ambidextrous extended thumb safety. The trigger is a long, skeletonized 3-hole pattern with an overtravel stop screw, paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
The grip setup combines wood panels with Rock Island Armory medallions over a black rubber wraparound finger-groove insert, providing a customized hand fit while retaining the factory look. The frame features a smooth front strap and a serrated mainspring housing.
Markings and provenance are consistent throughout: the left-side slide bears the Rock Island Armory crest/logo; the frame is marked "M1911 A1-FS"; and the barrel hood is marked "CAL. 45 ACP." Import marks read "APINTL – Pahrump NV," with manufacture in the Philippines. The included ACT-MAG (Italy) magazine is the OEM pattern for RIA, and the factory case label matches the pistol’s markings.
