It uses Shield Arms S15 magazines, runs a 3.5 in bushingless bull barrel with a dual-captive recoil spring, and wears a durable black DLC slide over an aluminum-tone frame. Tritium night sights, an integral 3-slot Picatinny rail, and precision-machined grip texturing round out a feature set built for practical carry and confident control.

The AF1911-S15 is built on a forged 7075-T6 aluminum one-piece grip/frame with steel rail inserts, delivering a rigid foundation with an approximate weight of 28.5 oz (manufacturer spec). The frame features an integral 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail for mounting a light or laser.
The 3.5 in bushingless bull barrel uses a reverse plug and a dual-captive recoil spring system. This compact barrel and recoil setup is purpose-built for reliable cycling in a shorter slide and provides a smooth shooting impulse.
The two-tone finish combines a black DLC slide with an aluminum-tone matte frame. The slide is detailed with front and rear cocking serrations, top serrations/rib, and polished flats for a refined appearance with practical traction.
Controls and sights are set up for confident handling: ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, a 3-hole lightweight trigger, and a skeletonized loop hammer. Machined diamond-pattern grip texturing, a checkered front strap and straight mainspring housing, and a standard square-butt grip heel enhance purchase. Dovetailed 3-dot tritium night sights are marked "NF H3," and the pistol carries a "DULUTH, GA" location marking, USA-made.
