The 10.5 in barrel is 4140 chrome-moly steel, cold hammer-forged, and finished in black oxide with M4 feed ramps. It is threaded 1/2-28 and fitted with an A2-style flash suppressor and crush washer. The 1:8 RH twist supports a broad range of 5.56/.223 bullet weights.
Forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers feature a Type III hard-coat anodized finish in black. The upper includes a forward assist, brass deflector, ejection-port cover, and a full-length Picatinny top rail for mounting accessories.
The carbine-length direct impingement system is paired with a Ruger free-float 9 in aluminum M-LOK handguard bearing the RUGER marking and aligned top rail. Ergonomics are enhanced with a Magpul MOE pistol grip and an adjustable brace.
Internal parts are built for durability: the 9310 steel bolt is shot-peened and proof-tested, the carrier and gas key interiors are chrome-plated, the gas key is properly staked, and the carrier exterior has a black oxide finish.
Useful upgrades are already installed, including Ruger Rapid Deploy flip-up sights, the Aero Precision Breach ambidextrous charging handle, and a Votatu VB40-IG light/green laser with a remote pressure pad. An M-LOK hand stop with a short Picatinny section, cable management clips on the handguard, a QD sling endplate, and a two-point sling with QD swivels round out a practical, range-ready setup.
