The M18X pairs an M18-length, coyote-finished slide with the X-Series grip module for improved ergonomics and a flared magwell that speeds magazine changes. The slide carries the M18 rollmark and contract-style inscriptions, while the barrel hood is marked 9mm x 19. The grip module is molded NEWINGTON, NH, USA with SIG medallion logos.
Controls are purpose-built: ambidextrous slide catch, a left-side takedown lever, and no external manual-safety levers. The slide features front and rear serrations, and the pistol retains iron sights with a standard-height front blade.
