The optics-ready slide comes from the factory with a cover plate installed and front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. The slide is finished in Black Armornite and is marked "SMITH & WESSON MARYVILLE, TN U.S.A."
Its 5.0-inch stainless steel barrel uses an Armornite finish and a 1:10 RH twist for 9mm Luger. Steel 3-dot sights are standard, with a white-dot front and a drift-adjustable 2-dot rear.
The M2.0 polymer frame uses the aggressive M2.0 texture and includes interchangeable palmswell inserts to fine-tune fit. An integral 3-slot accessory rail supports common weapon-mounted accessories.
This striker-fired configuration has ambidextrous slide stop levers, a left-side takedown lever, and no manual thumb safety. Capacity is 17+1, and this pistol ships with four 17-round steel magazines.
