What's Included
- Marlin Model 410 lever-action .410 bore shotgun
The Model 410 combines classic Marlin lever-action handling with a smoothbore, fixed cylinder-bore barrel tailored to .410 shotshells. It feeds from a tubular magazine with a 4+1 capacity using 2-1/2 inch shells, and ejects to the side for clear, unobstructed operation. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped and fitted with filler screws from the factory.
Its sighting system is straightforward and effective: a green fiber-optic ramp front sight pairs with a folding semi-buckhorn rear sight on a stepped elevator. This setup provides a bright front reference with a traditional, adjustable rear.
Stocked in American walnut, the checkered pistol-grip buttstock and matching forend provide a secure grasp. Notable Marlin touches include the bullseye in the stock toe, a hard rubber buttplate with the horse-and-rider logo, and a fore-end cap with a sling swivel stud. The blued steel receiver and barrel present a cohesive, traditional finish.
Safety and handling features include a cross-bolt safety, half-cock notch, lever/bolt interlock, and a two-piece firing pin. The 13.5-inch length of pull offers a practical fit for a range of shooters. This example bears the North Haven, CT rollmark and was manufactured in the United States in 2009.
