It comes fitted with checkered wood target stocks with S&W medallions, and includes the original one-piece synthetic grip, factory blue case with matching label, manual, and a soft zippered pouch.

Built on Smith & Wesson’s stainless K-frame rimfire platform, the Model 617-6 pairs a satin stainless finish with a 6 inch heavy-profile barrel. The full-length underlug and serrated top rib add mass and sighting stability, while the fluted 10-shot cylinder delivers generous .22 LR capacity.
The revolver operates in double-action/single-action with an exposed hammer and a smooth-faced trigger. Target sighting is handled by a pinned Patridge front and a white-outline adjustable rear, providing a clear, precise sight picture for range or field use.
This example is customized with checkered wood target stocks bearing S&W medallions, installed in place of the factory one-piece synthetic grip, which is included. The fit and texture of the stocks offer a secure hold and a classic K-frame feel.
