As a Pro variant of Kimber’s 2K11 platform (platform introduced in 2024, Pro line added in 2025), it brings modern features to a proven 1911-based format.

The 2K11 Pro Royal configuration centers on a 4.25-inch, bushingless bull barrel with a recessed crown and fluting, matched to a toolless guide-rod system. The single-action, semi-automatic operation retains 1911 familiarity while the external extractor and modern internals support reliable function.
The slide is Commander-length with top lightening cuts, finished in Bronze PVD to match the stainless frame. The optics-ready cut includes a cover plate that integrates the rear sight notch, allowing immediate use with the factory irons or mounting of compatible optics using appropriate adapter plates.
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, and a flat-face, skeletonized aluminum trigger with lightening cuts. The composite grip module by MJD Solutions features a molded hexagonal texture and a flared bronze-tone magazine-well funnel to speed reloads.
A full-length dustcover carries a multi-slot Picatinny accessory rail for lights or lasers. Markings include "2K11" on the frame, "9MM" on the barrel hood, and "KIMBER TROY AL USA" on the underside, underscoring its U.S. manufacture. Capacity is 19+1 in 9mm Luger.
