Built on the AR-15 platform, the WW-15 is a semi-automatic, direct-impingement rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 30+1 capacity. The flat-top upper receiver includes a forward assist and ejection-port cover, and the receiver is marked "MOD. WW-15" and "W.W.I. Windham, ME U.S.A."
The 16 inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a slotted muzzle brake/compensator. Its 1:9 twist rate supports a broad range of common 5.56mm projectiles, and the bore and rifling present in excellent condition.
A Diamondhead USA VRS-T free-float aluminum handguard provides a rigid, streamlined front end. Flip-up sights are installed, and the rifle is set up with rail accommodations as indicated.
