The USP Expert configuration emphasizes precision. Its elongated slide and approximately 7.5-inch sight radius pair with a high front blade and a fully adjustable micrometer rear sight to support fine point-of-aim adjustments. The Hostile Environment finish provides a durable exterior on the slide.
The 5-inch cold-hammer-forged match barrel uses polygonal rifling and an O-ring at the muzzle for consistent lockup, and a polished crown. It is non-threaded. The short-recoil, modified Browning linkless system works with the USP recoil-reduction system to manage impulse.
Controls are purpose-built: a DA/SA match trigger with an adjustable over-travel stop, an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release, and a manual safety/decocker with color-coded S (white)/F (red) markings.
