The Carbon Series configuration pairs a 16 in barrel with a long, free-float 15 in M-LOK handguard for extended accessory mounting. The handguard is aluminum and secured with anti-rotation screws, with short 12 o'clock Picatinny rail sections at the front and rear (adjacent to the receiver).
The flat-top A3 upper features a T-marked Picatinny rail, forward assist, case deflector, and an ejection-port cover. The dust cover is marked "5.56 NATO," and the magwell carries the DB shield logo over "DB15."
The barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style birdcage flash hider and crush washer. The rifle uses a direct-impingement action and includes a manual safety.
The black-finished receiver and furniture include a Magpul MOE adjustable carbine stock and a Magpul MOE pistol grip. Capacity is 30+1, and the rifle is built in the USA.
