The gas-operated system uses a self-cleaning piston and a self-compensating exhaust valve to run a wide range of 12 gauge loads. A rotating two-lug bolt and dual operating rods drive reliable cycling, and a magazine cut-off lever adds convenient control over loading and unloading. Capacity is 3+1.
The 24 inch steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged and chrome-lined, with an overbored bore and extended forcing cone. It is steel-shot rated and paired with a ventilated rib and a red fiber-optic front bead. The Optimachoke Plus system is fitted with a Full choke.
Beretta's Kick-Off hydraulic recoil-reduction system, combined with a Gel-Tek recoil pad, helps manage recoil for faster follow-up shots. The stock is a rugged technopolymer with gray textured overmolded grip panels and adjustable drop and cast shims to fine-tune fit.
The aluminum-alloy receiver and other metal components receive Beretta's Aqua Technology protective treatment. The shotgun wears a uniform Realtree Hardwoods camouflage finish across the receiver, barrel, stock, and forend. A cylindrical bolt handle and sling swivel provisions at the front and rear round out the field-ready setup.
