The T3x TAC A1 pairs Tikka's smooth right-hand bolt action (with a large round bolt knob) and a detachable box magazine system for a 10+1 capacity. The two-position safety and 13.75-inch length of pull round out the core handling features.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-prong muzzle device that uses a quick-attach style collar. This compact barrel length keeps the rifle maneuverable while preserving the platform's practical .308 Win performance.
Its steel receiver seated in an aluminum chassis supports a folding, highly adjustable buttstock with an adjustable cheek riser, adjustable buttpad, and a toe accessory rail for bag or monopod interface. The rubberized finger-groove pistol grip (AR-style interface) provides a secure, repeatable hand position.
Up top, Picatinny rail sections are present on the receiver and on the forend/handguard; there is a gap between them. The free-float aluminum handguard incorporates M-LOK-style slots for accessory placement. The rifle is marked with CIP "FI" and an N 25 proof code and wears a matte receiver finish, reflecting its Finnish manufacture and proofing.
