The Legion R2 configuration brings a host of factory upgrades to the P226, including a Legion-tuned fire-control system with a curved Short Reset Trigger (SRT). The DA/SA action is paired with a decocker for confident operation and a reversible magazine release for user adaptability.
The optics-ready slide uses the R2/PRO footprint and includes a removable cover plate. It accepts SIG ROMEO1Pro/ROMEO2 and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro optics. The slide also features front and rear serrations and an external extractor for reliable function and easy manipulation.
SIG X-RAY3 day/night sights come standard, with a high-visibility green front tritium lamp and a square-notch rear with tritium lamps for low-light clarity. The 4.4-inch barrel balances sight radius and handling, while the full-size alloy frame with an enhanced beavertail aids control.
The Legion Gray finish covers both slide and frame, complemented by textured black/gray G10 grips with Legion medallions. A four-slot accessory rail on the dust cover supports lights or lasers. Capacity is 15+1 rounds, and this pistol includes three Mec-Gar steel magazines. The right side of the frame is marked "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON-NH-USA."
