The 5-inch fluted match bull barrel features a flush recessed crown and a bronze/gold-tone finish that contrasts the pistol’s matte black exterior. This configuration is designed for durability and consistency, with the bull profile seated in a full-length dustcover.
The slide is a tri-top profile with chevron-style lightening cuts and an external extractor. It is optics-ready, with a Torx-retained cover plate that carries the black rear sight; a green fiber-optic front sight provides a clear aiming reference. The top of the slide ahead of the front sight is marked “TAG” and “KIMBER.”
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous thumb safety, an extended beavertail grip safety, and a modular double-stack grip module with aggressive texturing. A flared magazine well funnel speeds reloads. The flat, lightened gold-tone trigger with a K-shaped window and the skeletonized hammer complete the single-action-only setup.
