Built in New Haven, Connecticut, this Super-X Model 1 Trap reflects Winchester's dedicated trap configuration from the 1970s–1980s era. The M-prefix serial denotes the SX-1 series. The gas-operated system and steel construction give it the classic SX-1 foundation that target shooters value.
The 30" steel barrel carries a ventilated rib and is factory marked "FULL TRAP CHOKE," with a 2-3/4" chamber and bead sights. The barrel is stamped "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL," underscoring its factory pedigree for durability and patterning consistency in a trap setup.
Trap-oriented furniture includes a walnut Monte Carlo stock with a checkered pistol grip, paired with a checkered walnut fore-end. The stock is finished with a black ventilated recoil pad and white line spacer, and the length of pull measures 14.75 for a stable, heads-up mount on the line.
The blued steel receiver shows factory scroll engraving on both sides, adding tasteful visual detail. A jeweled bolt face and knurled magazine cap round out the factory touches. The tubular magazine provides a 4+1 capacity, aligning with traditional sporting layouts.
